I have tried several ways and the lowest rate I can get is $49. Eugene Jun 29, 01, 1:07 pm dogcanyon -- Here is the link you need to click on to get that $39 rate: http://www.travelweb.com/TravelWeb/clk_prop.html?rate=39&pid=1256&chain=SI&cur=USD dogcanyon Jun 29, 01, 1:09 pm Thanks, Eugene! MileKing Jun 29, 01, 1:43 pm Do these travelweb Click-It weekend rates qualify for Starpoint earning credit? Any idea what happens if you do a no-show on these rates? Will you still receive SPG credit? dogcanyon Jun 29, 01, 1:44 pm Does anybody know for sure whether this rate qualifies for earning Starpoints? flyme2 Jun 29, 01, 2:20 pm Yes, they do count for stay and point credit. Just make sure the property has your SPG # upon check-in. Counting it as a *stay*, however, would seem to be the main benefit (e.g. toward the 10/20k bonus). JNelson113 Jun 30, 01, 11:59 am Like MileKing, I too wonder whether booking this and no-showing will allow this to count as a stay. Any ideas? schriste Jun 30, 01, 3:35 pm I have booked Click-It reservations in the past and have received points and stay credit. You still pay for the room with your credit card at the hotel. The problem is, at least in the past, there is no place to enter your SPG# when you make the booking and the 800 reservation number could not update the reservation with it either. On checkin the hotel will enter your SPG#, but this may limit your chance for upgrades and/or amenities + makes a no show just for the stay something of a hassel too. dw Jun 30, 01, 4:27 pm In the past with rates such as priceline reservations, I've been able to just call the hotel directly a day or two prior to arrival to add my SPG number. |
