I just got off the phone with Starwood PG. I had called to find out when(if) my credit for a meal at the Stamford Sheraton would show up. (At the time the Sheraton staff seemed a little confused about the process, so I figured I'd better ask sooner rather than later.) Well, the rep verified it had been more than a week, asked me for the total, and then said he'd take care of it! When I expressed surprise that I wouldn't have to fax a copy of my receipt, or send anything in writing, he said 'no problem'. He was authorized to put it thru AS LONG AS IT WAS UNDER $1000. I joked, that I should have said it was $999 not my measly $57, and he agreed!
