Help..!
I spent 6 nights at the Atlanta Sheraton last week. I picked the Sheraton for the sole purpose of qualifying for the 2 free Fridays. Unfortunately, the person at my company who made the reservation put me down for a conference rate. Now Starwood tells me that that rate is not eligible for the promo. Can anyone suggest what to do? I tried calling the hotel and spoke to a very unfriendly woman who told me they can't make changes after I've checked out http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
Would it help to speak to someone higher up at the hotel and request them to change the classification of my rate to regular instead of group? Am I being reasonable by asking for this little favor?? I'm Starwood Gold if that helps....
