William-I get my statement on line and its great BUT I have just received promotional fliers for 2 properties I have just stayed at-after Ive stayed.theyre a month late.I had to put 4 people into a hotel in Sydney today and because of the price put them into Hilton-I came home and found the new prices quite competative. Why cant the flyers be scanned and attatched to the online statements.

tinkybelle, I checked your e-mail preferences and you are scheduled to receive all correspondence via e-mail. This means that any promotional offers, which are generated by Starwood Preferred Guest, should be coming to you via e-mail either along with your statement or under separate cover.
This would not apply to any promotional offers sent to you by the properties themselves or by the Asia/Pacific marketing division. My best guess is that your recent stays at these properties is what generated these offers, and this is why you received them after the fact.
If I could see the material that was sent to you, it would be very helpful in determining its origin. Perhaps they could be scanned and sent to me as an attachment? Until then, all I can offer is the conjecture referenced above.

William-Thanks for the Prompt reply. I will try to scan these. The two offers were sent with my hard copy statement dated 30th March.I realise that it takes a while to post this sort of thing but with the rest of your site being so up to date and the great auto account emails happening -I cant see why Starwood cant scan these and have them under a special offers section.Holiday Inn does it!!Its not like the recipient has to produce at checkin!!Just think its a good idea to make all offers available immediately-not 4 weeks after implementation.
thanks for your help.

tinkybelle, we have a problem somewhere along the line. When I said that your account was set for you to receive all e-mail correspondence, this should include e-statements as well. If you receive e-statements, you should not be receiving paper ones as well...even quarterly paper statements. I did not notice that you had changed your e-mail preferences recently, but I will await the promotions you scan to see if we can determine the problem. You should receive the same promotions in your e-statement as you would in the quarterly paper statement, only quicker. Very curious.
