If you are ever in exciting East Texas, do stay at the Sheraton Tyler. Great room rates, fantastic TV cable system with excellent room service dinner.

Staff at front desk seemed eager to please and were very polite.

While you were there, did you pick up any roses? Isn't that the rose capital of America? And Earl Campbell's hometown? And the airport there....wow!

Actually, I was driving from Dallas to Longview - so I did not see the airport.

I was being a wise guy. I was stuck in the airport for around 12 hours on my trip there.

I stay there often and agree it and the staff are nice. Don't miss the Barnes and Noble across the street. It has to be the smallest town with one!
