Starwood Preferred Guest - Free Fridays on same day in different hotels ?

Can anyone help ?

I'm trying to use up my 2 Free Fridays in Orlando on Fri 30th March - I'm being told that I can't use them both in the same hotel or on the same day !

Has anyone tried / succeeded in using both Free Fridays on the same night, even in adjacent hotels ?! (Swan / Dolphin etc. )

Two stipulations in the terms and conditions pretty much answer this one:

"Each award is valid for one room per Fridayt night and a member can use only one Free Friday night award on the same night."

"Free Friday night awards are non-transferable and must be used by the qualifying member"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your description looks as if you're booking 2 rooms so you can use one and give the other to a friend. Clearly, this would send up a red flag with Starwood before reserving the room(s) for you.

This IS an interesting dilemma! I was planning to use both my Free Fridays at the same hotel - either in NYC or Hong Kong: these are for my family, as we are 4 people (2 adt, 2 kids) and both hotels only put 2-3 persons per room! I never thought to check the rules and conditions for these exclusions. Hmmmmmm.. Bummer....
