I got bored on a recent flight and decided to compile notes from my various hotel stays.
You can see my ratings of about 100 hotels (mostly US cities, sorry) at http://members.home.net/rockya/hotels.htm.
Why is this posted in SW forum? Well, I stay at a lot of SW hotels. I also have tried to note the kind of amenity/upgrade provided. (You may have to scroll horizontally to see it.)
It's very rough at this point. Yep, straight export from Excel. The ones in bold are my favorites in each area.
Scale is roughly this:
0 - You could not pay me to stay at this hotel.
1 - If this were the only hotel left in the city, I'd consider it.
2 - Not the nicest place, but it does the job.
3 - A nice, comfortable place, but lacking in amenities or finishing touches.
4 - A solid business class hotel.
5 - A truly exceptional hotel with outstanding service and top notch accomodations.
If people find this useful - and I have time - I'll try to keep it updated as well as pretty it up.
