Starwood Preferred Guest - 1000 Mile Booking Bonus

Anybody know if SPG will be bringing the special back this Fall?

It was a great promotion! It really gave me incentive to book Starwood rather than Hilton last Spring.

I tried to get some scoop from the SPG Platinum line on the next promotion after the free weekends promotion ends 9/16. I was told that they will most likely be doing the free Fridays again in the Fall. He didn't say anything about the booking bonus. Hopefully they will bring that promotion back again.

Does any other chain run better promos than Starwood? If so, I've missed it.
