Suggestions - We have to be careful here...

It would certainly be nice to have car rental forums, trip report forums, first class forums, coupon exchange forums, alliance forums, non-travel earning forums, etc. However, we have to be careful here or we are going to have way too many very specific threads.

I actually don't think that the "too many forums" situation is a problem. I would actually set up a mechanism whereby any suggested topic could become a forum. What would be required is that the forum either grow or die; a sort of FlyerTalk Darwinism, if you will. Look at the existing forums: some of these have never been looked at. I suggest these could be removed without fear of a FlyerTalk backlash.

So if somebody wants a new forum, make it easy to set up, and see what happens.

Just my opinion, of course.
