Diners Club Club Rewards - The continually decreasing value of my Club Rewards points

I just got the new catalog in the mail the other day. Did anyone else notice that the value of 1 Club Rewards point has once again decreased for most certificate or merch redemptions? $100 = 16,000 points in 2000. $100 = 20,000 points in 2001. And although merchandise redemptions were NEVER a great deal, they've gotten even worse this year. $650 set of Taylor Made irons = 189,000 points!!!

Fortunately, points-to-miles rules were unchanged. Clearly that's the best way to redeem points - this year more than ever.

I guess the catalog is in the mail, I just haven't seen it yet, since I am on the road, also from what I hear from you, there is really nothing to look at.

I always think that Points-miles is great, I hope that they won't change the value there.
