American Express Membership Rewards - MR points to AA Miles

Can someone give me a creative way to transfer MR points to Americian Airlines Miles.

Asked and answered numerous times. Please do a search both here and in the AA forum.

Thanks, I was unaware of the search feature. It seems that there is no direct way to transfer MR points to AA Miles without a significant loss in value.

After reading of some earlier posts, a good idea would be to book a travel package through Marriott that includes miles and a seven day stay. 250K = 120 K AA miles plus a seven night stay ( level 6).

Any other current ideas would be helpfull.

Not a transfer exactly, but....
MR -> CO -> Amtrak -> UA -> Diners -> BA (during summer promo)

No loss of value, other than the Diners transfer fee, and redeem on AA. Easy!

You can transfer Amex MR --> Mexicana. I haven't checked this out yet, but presumably the new AA/MX partnership will allow MX miles to be redeemed for AA flights.

You can transfer Amex MR --> CO --> Amtrak --> Midwest Airlines at no devaluation, up to 25k/yr. Midwest Miles can be redeemed for AA flights.
