I got this as a targetted offer in July, applied, got and use the card.

Then, a couple days ago I received this offer - this time it doesn't appear to be targetted.

It was with the many inserts with my last card statement... no name on offer - looks like it is open to anyone....

So I will get 26K miles to keep a card for a year and spend 7.5K on it - then cancel.... sounds like a deal to me!

(Yes, I know, only 18.5K are really extra bonus miles - 7.5K are for the $7500 spent - but with no annual fee...)

Did same one in June, spent $7500 during bonus miles period. Just checked my balance : 32,500 so I got the full bonus AOK.

Does anyone know if this promo is still valid?

I talked toa rep calling the # given before here. Its still valid. But does not work for me as its only for new members. I already have a plat card, and the rep wanted to downgrade my card to gold to avail this promo.
