American Express Membership Rewards - British Airways AmEx Premium Plus question

On the BA AmEx you get a two for one companion voucher when you spend £15,000 on the card. Does this £15,000 have to be spent on my main account card or can it could I get the voucher if my brother spends £5000 on his supplementary card and I spend £10,000
