I posted this "complaint" over in the Delta FT Miles section, but am putting it here in case someone reading this does not also read the DL forum.
In June of 2003, when I upgraded from the AMEX Gold to the Platinum Delta Skymiles card I was supposed to get 5000 MQM(Medallion Qualification Miles). When they didn't show up I contacted AMEX and received notice that they would post; a letter dated October 21, states that "the miles posted on September 24, 2003 but due to a systems issue they have not transferred over to Delta." Todate they are not posting in my acct. with Delta.
Over one month to get the miles from AMEX to Delta seems a bit long!
Does anyone have insight into what is the underlying problem?
[Over in the Delta Section, AMEX miles being rejected by DL has been noted--one can wind up going in a circle getting this straigtened out.]
