American Express Membership Rewards - Prorate annual fee if I cancel account?

My Double Miles posted, so I can now close my Skymiles Gold card. My annual date was about 45 days ago. If I cancel now, will they refund MOST of my annual fee?

I just got the Business card, so I don't need both.

Not sure about the Skymiles Amex, but Amex does prorate annual fees for regular Amex charge cards.

Yup, they do prorate. I got about $9 back in July for converting it to a *wood.
