American Express Membership Rewards - Good Bye AMEX

Regretfully my relationship with AMEX will soon be ending. My industry (airline) has not faired well as of late. Unfortunity my personal circumstances now reflects this. I still have about 70k in MR point left over. In the past I have used these for personal travel when I didn't want to utilize passes. However at this time I have no use for them in this regard. But need to move them from my Plat Card's MR acct very shortly. Any tips on a good place to put 70k in stray points? Or would dumping them into my FF acct for future use, be the best idea? Thanks in advance. I will add that I have always found AMEX to provide flawless service, head and shoulders above lesser cards. Ty Jude

Well depending on your travel patterns you may want to turn them into 140k HHonors points (AMEX-CO-HHonors) - that is the route I am taking with my orphaned MRs.

Or just keep them in CO for awhile. Then you can use them for CO, NW or DL flights. And should you need them, you can move some over to Hilton.
