I was really suprised not find the hard details about this program on this board. Basically Amex will buy you a revenue ticket and you can get miles. I remember the negatives being you had to give them 21 days and their was a rather limited price cap on what they would spend. Do any of you have details?

Ok just to prove i am not lazy i found this on the amex site...but i know that they have more restrictive details. So what are restrictions Amex does not tell us about?

Four Your Ticket rewards can be redeemed per calendar year per Program account. I tried to use this service a few times for int'l travel. The biggest restriction is that they only buy Coach tickets. For the # of miles they require for such purchases, you can typically get a business class ticket for the same destination by transfering the miles to your program of choice (assuming it's an AMEX partner). While such flight won't accrue any miles, b-class beats Coach ANY DAY for long-haul flights. If and you don't mind sitting in Coach and could really use the extra miles in your program of choice and such program is not an AMEX partner - this may be a good deal for you.
