American Express Membership Rewards - UK Platinum question

Does anyone know if UK Platinums can use KLM airline lounges? (as KLM is linked to Northwest, which currently grants lounge access to Platinums).

I believe that UK Amnex Plat allows access to all Priority Pass lounges. This may include some KLM lounges (I do not know for certain).

It's not the UK Plat card that allows PP access; the UK Plat comes with one free PP membership, which is not for use by supplementary cards.

Check on www.prioritypass.com (http://www.prioritypass.com) but I don't think there are very many KLM lounges in the programme. You will not have access on the basis of the NW/KLM partnership.

No this is as an aside to the Priority Pass scheme. Plats get access to Northwest airline lounges - irrespective of class flown - upon presentation of their card. I suppose this will depend on whether KLM & Northwest are one [KLM's website is co-branded] or the deal only applies to Northwest flights. Any further ideas? Amex tell me it's ok but then even they were confused as to whether this was anything to do with Priority Pass.

You cannot get access to KLM lounges with the UK Platinum card. The Priority Pass is a useful benefit when travelling through most major European airports. Travelling through Amsterdam can be a problem though as the walk is sometimes just too long to get to a Priority Pass lounge.
