What would you like to see offered from Amex down the road?

Personally, I'm holding out for a Starwood Corporate card.

What are you wishing?

Primary car rental insurance would be my top pick.

A green card where the transparent plastic layer on the front doesn't start to peel off after only a few months! My previous card did this and it was promptly replaced (with a new card number). The new card is doing the same - probably from the same batch. I dont care 'coz I'll keep ringing up and asking for a new replacement card. It does, though, give me the sh!ts and makes the AMEX card look shabby (and its not even the wank factor of having a plat or gold card!).

Faster updates to the online transaction record.

Amex should elminate its cash withdrawl fee for Plat. and Cent. cards. 3% to link the card to a checking account is out of line. With the Fidelity Plat. card, there is no fee. All the fee does is make me cary another card, as I would never use Amex to get cash.

Ditto on the car insurance. Amex should provide primary coverage and also cover lost rental revenues. Perhaps they could negotiate such a deal with their partners.

Better/faster integration with Membership Rewards--it took six months and several e-mails before my bonus points on car rentals showed up on the statement; partly because I couldn't access online and partly because hardcopy MR statements are three months behind!

And the FOREX rate is a scam for an international financial services company....

-The rate AmEx charges for transactions abroad, completely eliminated or reduced.

-No more call centers outside of North America.

-A better focus on cardmember service.

-Blue from AmEx with better clear plastic than the current meshy one.

-All of the above.

To see Foreign Spending amounts on on-line statements. Especially useful when printable statements are "turned off."

FOREX is a rip off, you are quite right.

My gripe is that they cant even tell you the rate that you will be charged - absolutely clueless !

Period.

I'm tired of dealing with foreigners CSR's who might as well be robots, who can't do anything beyond the ordinary, or what's written on their script.

Better airline baggage and flight insurance. $3000 and 1,000,000 with plat and cent cards

lower foreign exchange fees.

Right now I don't use amex for airline tickets or overseas transactions.
