American Express Membership Rewards - Transferring points to starwood

I have some points stocked up from years ago and recently remembered that I still have quite a few MR points. What is the transfer rate to starwood. I seem to remember that quite that a few years ago the rate was not too favorable. Is it one for one now?

I am afraid it is not one to one and i highly doubt they are ever going to make it one to one. The current rate is 999 MR for 333 Starpoints and you have to transfer in increments of 999 MR points. Though, i remember a few months ago they had a promotion where the transfer rate is only 2 MR to 1 Starpoint. Unfortunately, like all good things, they come and go before our eyes.
