American Express Membership Rewards - Magazine - UK Centurion

I've seen the Centurion magazine mentioned several time (by both US and UK members) but have never received one myself - although I've only had a centurion for a few months. When should I expect to receive one? I imagine it makes good coffee table / waiting room material but is it worth asking for?

It's very glossy but there's little substance in it. I think I got my first after having the card for around 3 months.

I got a Centurion Magazine last month, call them up if you have not received it.

Its has a few articles in there (think lifestyle magazine, think the posh magazine that you find in hotels), and a few offers towards the back. My dad normally takes my copy when I have finished reading it for his office.

The one to watch out for is the Centurion Preview brochure that has all the exclusive cardmmeber events, one should be dropping thru your letterbox imminently http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

My Preview (and ITC magazine) arrived this morning and promptly went in the recycling bin.

Can anybody tell me the attraction of these events - I just don't get it.

The Ferragamo and Versace look quite good... should give me a few bonus points with the girlfriend.

And as these events are not just centurion holders there should be no hard sell.

I was miffed back when they did an article on Saville Row and did not even mention my tailor.
