In my quest to build Marriott pts for a trip to Hawaii I 'upgraded' to the Gold Rewards Plus card which was supposed to give me double rewards on certian partners. Does anyone know of a way to account for these double rewards? Contrary to what I was told by AMEX there appears to be no way of seeing an accounting of all charges and rewards earned for each. All I can see is a list of base and bonus rewards on a monthly basis but no breakdown.
I was told by AMEX several times that I would be able to see a breakdown of pts earned on each statement. Of course I never saw this. Given the horrible experience I had upgrading I do not trust AMEX as I was lied to several times in enticing me to go through with this. Therefore, I would like to see a breakdown.

Does anyone know of a way to see this. Thanks in advance for any advice & help.

There isn't any way. The online points total is the most accurate but there isn't any breakdown of base vs. bonus.

The new MR statements that come with your bill are a couple of months behind. I just received my Sept MR statement with the Nov bill.

Unless you keep a manual running total of the everyday merchants you use, or total them from each bill, there isn't an easy way.

But, my experience with my Delta Optima, which was ONLY used for everyday purchases that would give me double Delta miles was good. I did a few checks and they doubled each of those transactions.
