Is anyone else as tired as I am of getting this offer to basically turn my Amex Platinum Card into a credit card and be rewarded with 1250 MR points for the honor? I must get this offer weekly! Too bad there isn't a place to check "No, thank you" and be done with it.

Call the AMEX Cust Serv number on the back of your card and tell them you don't want anymore mailings. They also include a document with your statement at least once a year that you can sign and return that does the same thing. I'm not sure, but I think you can also Opt-out on line.

You alone are responsible to take steps to reduce offers not requested by you. As with telemarketing there are many lists for sale with your name on them, the most frequently bought and used actually comes form your state/provinces Registry of Motor Vehicles.

You are entitled with Amex, as well as any credit card to request that your name be excluded from any offers/marketing lists. This is a requirement under consumer privacy protection. As a previous poster mentioned you can call, email, or mail your request to Amex. If you are a Platinum/Centurion Holder there is a special group in the FTL call center to handle your request personally.
