American Express Membership Rewards - Centurion baggage delay insurance?

I just flew with an international carrier which seems to have lost my checked luggage. I know that the UK Centurion offers 200 GBP when baggage is delayed, in addition to their lost baggage insurance which doesn't kick in until days later. I'm almost certain that when I received my US Centurion a couple of years ago it offered similar coverage, but AMEX US denies any knowledge of such insurance, and will not honor my claim.
If there's any US Centurion member on this board who's been a member for 2-3 years, it'd be great if you could look at your invitation letters and/or policies and check for this benefit. My book is back home and I won't be back there for a couple more weeks... Many thanks!!!
fyi, UK Centurion:
Baggage lost (and not recovered) : up to GBP 300 per item (max. GBP 2,500 per trip).
Baggage delayed (> 12 hours) or lost : GBP 200 to buy essential items.

The Fall '99 US Centurion handbook refers to "loss or damage," but makes no reference to "delay."

I looked at the Platinum book that's sent to members. Page 15 mentions lost or damaged bags but nothing about delayed bags.
Reference :
The "Insurance Terms & Conditions" booklet for UK Centurion (CAM2004 02/01).
Benefit 25: Baggage Delay
" If the Beneficiary's baggage is certified by the Carrier to have been lost or misplaced in transit during a trip for a period in excess of 12 hours:
The Beneficiary can claim up to GBP 200 for the purchase of essential items he/she will require for the remainder of that trip. The amount claimed will be offset against any claim under Benefit 24: Baggage and Money "
The benefit is different for the (UK issued and serviced) International Dollar Card. Luggage delay : $400 after 6 hours.

Thanks ahrz! Seems that all the non-US Centurion cards offer some flavor of this insurance, but probably not the US card. Does anyone have a 2000 or 2001 benefit guide that he/she can look at to verify?
Hello,
In Switzerland for Centurion members the conditions for baggage and travel insurance are :
Assurance incident de voyage
- Vol retardé de plus de 4 heures jusqu'à CHF 800
- Annulation de vol jusqu'à CHF 800
- Vol de correspondance manqué jusqu'à CHF 800
- Livraison tardive des bagages – après 6 heures jusqu'à CHF 2'000
- Perte de bagages – après 48 heures
jusqu'à CHF 4'000
So after 6 hours delay till 2000 CHF for baggage
For lost baggage after 48 hours till 4000 CHF
kooks.

It does not look like anyone has helped you, being a lowly Platinum I am no help either, except to suggest calling Amex collect and see what they say.
Platinum's has no delay benefit unless you sign up for it with a per trip fee.
