sorry should this be an issue raised before:
is there a card available in germany that allows to receive both amex and starwood points?
No - I think, youŽll hardly find an amex-card, that gives you both options (membership rewards points AND points for an other loyalityprogram) at the same time.
Please correct me, if IŽm wrong, but even the US-Starwood-Amex-card "only" gets you Starwood-points, as far as I kown.

I happened to call Starwood Amex customer service yesterday about this. I have a new card and I had been charging up a storm (I want those 25K miles for 20K points ASAP!), and was alarmed when I went to check something about my personal account on the website and saw a link to Membership Miles. The link implied that this was part of "my" Amex program. I phoned to make sure that I didn't screw up and that I was indeed already accumulating miles just by using the card. The person assured me that they were separate programs, whether the website reflected that or not.

The Starwood card earns only Starwood points, 1 point for each dollar spent.
The standard AmEx cards, green, gold, platinum & blue earn Membership Rewards points provided you have enrolled in the program.
There is no connection between the two programs and there is no "double dipping" or election of which to earn. By every measure, the Starwood points are more valuable.
