American Express Membership Rewards - Delta/Amex wants me back

Have been getting promotional material for the Delta/Amex card recently. I had this card a couple of years ago and I'm wondering if I will get the bonus miles again.

The fine print says the cardholder can only get the miles once for sign-up....however, has anyone gotten it twice?

I have been told "no". But my wife might be eligible (?).

i have had the card a couple of times. cancelled applied again and have received the 10000 mile bonus both times. just cancelled the card last month and applied last week-- maybe too soon. lets see what happens. i hope i get it soon-- need the 10000 miles and then i can pay my taxes with the card for double miles. will keep you posted
