American Express Membership Rewards - Question re converting MR points to Delta skymiles

Can points from one person's MR accont be redeemed for Skymiles in another persons Skymiles account?

Not sure about Skymiles, but I have transferred MR miles to another person's KE Skypass account.

The requirement, as explained by the Amex agent, was that the other person had to be an additional cardholder under my own account (which was the case).

I suppose this might be more restrictive than you wish.

Transfer the Amex miles to your own Skymiles account and then have the ticket issued for that other person. Of course the ticket will be mailed to your home address as listed with DL as a security measure.

OF course, if you use SkyMiles to the flight as an e-ticket, everything would be fine too.

Due to a family in February, my brother took it on himself to book three R/T tickets from PHX to DAY for my self, wife and son. The fact that we were travelling two days hence, he booked them as e-tickets. With the confirmation number and ids, all we needed to do was check-in at the Delta Ticket Counter.
