Has anybody used the Plat card to access this lounge? We have a trip next month and I cannot find the rules regarding guests/children.

No guests, on the children front you could try it if they are young;, say under 5. Thanks, Richard UKTony Mar 17, 02, 5:08 am <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Originally posted by RichardMannion: No guests, on the children front you could try it if they are young;, say under 5. I suppose we could just leave them at reception whilst enjoying the facilities! RichardMannion Mar 17, 02, 4:40 pm I know what you mean, AmEx won't issue a card to my little brother as he is only 11 and it can sometimes cause issues at lounges. Having to pay £15 for him to use a lounge is a bit steep when he is goign to have two cokes and some crisps at the most http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Some lounges, like Delta are cool with it though and don't count him. Virgin are (were) quite strict though, fortunately flying Upper Class allows a guest to be taken to the Clubhouse. He enjoyed it in the LGW clubhouse though: haircut, games, muffins, milkshakes http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif On the otherhand, if there anything like my other younger sibling they can consume £15 of food/drink in about 30 mins..... My advice would be to ask the lounge. Thanks, Richard |
