Has anyone had experience using FHR&S at the Ritz Naples during high season (March and Easter-time)? I am curious as to how good they might be about upgrades, etc., when the hotel is full.
I am thinking about giving up the FHR&S upgrade and $50 spa certificate in lieu of another package at the same rate (providing a gift certificate of higher value for some designer shops nearby).
We are already on the club level, so losing out on the daily continental breakfast wouldn't bother me. But if I am going to lose out on an upgrade from coastal view to Gulf view or Gulf front I would stay with FHR&S. My only concern is that the hotel seems to be pretty full (the only remaining room types available on the Ritz website are those in lower categories).
Any thoughts/advice/suggestions?
