Hi,
Does anyone know the difference between the AMEX Gold Card, and the AMEX Gold Credit Card?
I always thought I had an AMEX Gold, but it seems I have the GOLD CREDIT card.

The true AMEX Gold is a charge card, not a credit card. All balances are due and to be paid in full upon billing.
Credit cards (e.g., Delta SkyMiles Gold) allow you to carry a balance by paying a minimum and interest.
And then there are the AMEX Gold debit cards (such as Fidelity sponsors) that automatically take what you owe from your securities account.

The Gold card (charge card) has the classic Amex design, with the small centurion in the middle.
The Gold credit card has a big centurion on the left side (in many countries, like Germany or Australia).
In Germany, the Gold credit card is free for Gold/Platinum/Centurion cardholders.
