Amex is offering online statements. But, one would think that they would offer you something to sign up. Like membership miles. Afterall, they will save millions on postage and paper. But, they offer nothing!!!

I many countries, a bank or credit card company must send (due to gov. regulations or laws) paper statements.
The online statement is only a help for customers wanting to look at their expenses before the monthly statement is issued.

AmEx's online statements (that I've gotten) suck, they provide so few details. AmEx is always touting how detailed their statements are as a benefit of cardmembership, but they don't come through online.
Last I heard they were working on it, but now that AmEx's headquarters is in shambles, I doubt that is a priority. My friend who works there was told today that it will be at least 10 months before they go back...

Use the Amex Bill Center, and have your Amex bills sent there.. They are scanned, so it is the same as having the real bill. You can also print them.. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I got the 1000 points offer signed up and did not get the points, called them up and they promised to post it the next day, has not shown up and that was 4 weeks ago.
The listing of bonus points for this program is so crappy I think they did on purpose so you just give trying to track your points.
