American Express Membership Rewards - Centurion Card in Thailand?

Does anyone know if the Amex Centurion Black card is offered in Thailand?
If so, does it offer elite membership in airline programs (like in the US) or not (like in Hong Kong)?
Thanks!!
No, there is currently no Centurion card in Thailand (like in most countries).
The Centurion card is still not available in France. I talked to my Platinum Card Service, and they explained why :
The Centurion card is only available in countries where there are already enough active Platinum card customers (say, more than 5% of the card base or so).
Else, the Platinum card base must first be extended, by invitation of more existing Gold card members.

German car rental firms ?
I know only one, Sixt !
I was waiting at the Sixt counter in Paris (Av. de Saxe) last year. A german customer complained over the phone he couldn't get an upgrade with his Centurion card (no car was available for upgrade).
I didn't know that Sixt and Amex have a contract, because Amex and Hertz are worldwide partners: Centurion cardholders get a double upgrade, Platinum cardholders a single upgrade.
You should ask the Centurion service in Germany (0800 6060605). If Sixt is a partner, it should work in France also.

Thanx for the info! With Sixt you only get double upgrades in Germany. No Info about France or whatsoever country. Hotline wasnt that helpful!

BangkokFlyer...the Centurion card is offered as part of AMEX's International Dollar Card program that's run out of the United Kingdom. It's still "by invitation only" but you might ask for an invite if this card and the special international dollar program (which transacts in U.S. dollars) is somehow workable for you.
You can check it out at:

Thanks for the info PremEx!
I only got the Amex Plat just a few months ago by invite, so I might not qualify yet, but it won't hurt to tell them I'm interested.
Do you have any idea whether the Amex Centurion under the international dollar card gives elite status in 4 airlines (like the US issued ones)?

Sorry, I don't know anything about this card other than what I read myself on the web site.
Probably best to contact them in the UK directly.
Good Luck!

Sorry to dissapoint you but the above benefits you mentioned,(elite status in 4 airlines) are only for the US issued Centurion card.

@joergi
quite easy for plat. just complain a lot over the miserable service of Hertz france (consistently billing twice the booked amount, dirty cars, queues etc).
For LH Hon, no idea why, but got invited after some years beeing SEN

Hertz in France:
I had a rate problem once in CDG, but usually they are OK.
Except the refueling : how do they fill 10 Litres into an already full tank ? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Syndicator: Thanks for letting us know. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
ahrz: My case is better (this time: Sixt). I drove 80 kilometers, and they charged 38 liters of fuel. Must have been a race car or what? But they credited back when I complained.
I refill at the "Total" station in CDG.
From the station to Hertz in the terminal (CDG 1) : 2 miles.
For our american friends : 2 gallons refill for 2 miles, that's 1 MPG !

What about Lufthansa Hon (I only know Senator and Frequent Traveller)??
Hertz Plat is not available in Germany, is it? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
This thread is drifting, but... Hertz Platinum is available in Germany, but I am amazed you can get this through complaining. One of the big advantages of Hertz Platinum, is that it is a credit-account. The thought that Hertz, would offer credit, because someone has complained is amazing!
LH Hon, is being phased out. Mine expired some time ago.
