It's listed on the most recent newsletter. Register at www.automallrewards.com (http://www.automallrewards.com) for 500 bonus MR points. You get triple points if you make a deposit on a car...if you're looking to buy. I registered and was asked to check current programs in which I am a member, and I selected Memebership Rewards only. It linked me to a separate page, where I input card number and expiration date. I then got a "Thanks" message confirming my membership (but not the points).
Bonus points will take 10-12 weeks to post. For MR purposes, it's listed as bonus #2240. It all took me about 2 minutes for 500 points. Hope everyone can use it!

UpgradeMe--I appreciate your mentioning the past thread on this subject, but it is five months old and I doubt I would have seen it had it not been re-introduced today. Could you offer some paitience to those who may not have seen past threads by not just blindly posting archived links? The idea here is to keep us all up to date on miles and points-earning activities.
Additionally, I apologize in advance if I have offended you.

Thanks Greg, I thought I was the only person that gets annoyed by this. Upgrademe, while I appreciate your due diligence in posting links, it sends a message of intolerance for those of us who may not know the boards inside out; who may not have seen a posting four months ago; and sends a message that you think we're dumb. Just some thoughts to consider.

I actually find Upgrademe's (and others) post of past links helpful.. That way, new people can ask those questions, and then be referred to threads that have discussed these things in detail (and see what people have thought of it). That way, the whole subject isn't rehashed again, and those that missed it, will still be informed by reading the old comments (and then they can add their comments to the original, more detailed thread, which of course, will bring it to the top as soon as somebody does that).

I agree, Steve, in some cases. But in this case, when the information was the same as that to which the link pointed, it was a case of "We've already seen that, we already know it". It's not necessary in every case. Now, a link that actually answers a question and doesn't make one feel sheepish about posting information? Great.

What a crock of s%$#... Is the MR program run my monkeys? I mean to they use computers, or legal pads... You would think with the technology Amex has in place the MR program would be outstanding...
Should UpgradeMe take the time and effort to research and subseqently post for someone- or just ignore them perhaps? FWIW, I do not think they meant to be intolerant and likely were trying to be helpful, IMHO! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Should we assume they were not beacuse they may be curt? ? Nah! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif Just my opinion! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
