American Express Membership Rewards - Missing MR Bonus Points

I (finally) got my 4th Q 2000 MR statement.

Some bonuses appear, most don't. I have a rainbow of AMEX colors and it is very difficult to track what I should be getting.

Short of maintaining a spreadsheet on this matter, has anyone had luck simply calling to request those missing bonuses?

Am I the only one with missing bonus points, or is this widespread?

You mean most don't have luck getting points that are supposed to be credited?

I find it hard to believe that AMEX can't correct my MR problems then prevent the same problem from happening again.

I called over a month ago to satisfy initial questions, but see no action on their part. They promised to credit missing points, give a stay-happy bonus, and prevent the problems from happening again. Nothing happened and nothing is pending per a Friday phone call.

What method(s) have you used to get points?

cewhitman, sorry to be the one to break it to you and I'm sure you already know, AMEX blows, the know it, and they don't care. Despite that fact, I continue to charge over 100k with them every year for the flexibility of moving points around to various programs.
