American Express Membership Rewards - Inverted DL Skymiles Card billboard in NY

For those folks travelling north on the BQE past the Kozcusko (sp?) Bridge spanning Brooklyn and Queens, no doubt on your way to LGA, you will notice an inverted billboard promoting the DL Skymiles card. It's been there for at least two weeks.

What was the guy thinking when they put it up???

DL seems to look at a lot of things upside down.

Could just be a gimick to get you to look at it. It looks like it worked because not only did you look at it, but you recommended all of us look for it as well.

But you can't read what they are saying since the message is inverted as well.

So funny! We saw it on our way to LGA and wondered what was up. I noticed the Delta logo, but went by too quickly to see the promo -- no traffic http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I thought I was going crazy and am glad to see some other folks were confused by the "billboard."

I drove by it again yesterday (Sunday). It is no longer there. They either covered it up or took it down entirely.

Maybe it was there for people to see from their rear mirror?

Anyway I also saw another billboard last night on the way to LGA. It says "Welcome to New York, Hillary, Need Direction".

The problem is, you can see it only on the way to LGA, not the other way around.
