American Express Membership Rewards - Hilton Amex and Starpoints Amex question

I have read previous threads where people said they could not have a Starpoints Amex and a regular (no fee) Delta Amex at the same time. Is the rule the same for all no fee Amex cards, or can I get a Hilton Hhonors Amex if I already have a Starpoints card?

I'm not sure where you have found that information, but as far as I know, one can hold several AmEx cards (I have two - Platinum HHonors and Gold Skymiles).

Just for the record, I have and use actively the Delta Gold, Hilton Optima, and the Sheraton/Starwood Optima cards. Having all three cards allows "maxing" during stays, etc.
