I'm still working this one. Any suggestions or similar experience are appreciated. In the past never had any trouble with prompt credit on UA.com bookings on miles on SAA.
Booked though United.com RT IAD JNB on SAA in February with Old MP numbers. Tickets confirmed no problem. UA reservation shows new MP numbers but when I printed out the Boarding card on SAA site it has old MPnumbers. Flight to JNB was Aug 22 and still have no mileage credit. (important since it is an 8,131 mile flight with 150 % pqm.) filed the missing mileage credit using new MP number.
1) I saved all reservation info as of 8/22 but I can't seem to pull up the reservation on United.com i.e. what happened to the completed flights function? Problem is that the missing mileage page needs the booking class, e.g. "Q" which is not on the boarding card, so you neeed the original reservation .
2) Anyone else having trouble getting credit due to MP # change?
