Semi-regular poster, but first time in this neck of the woods. Currently staying at the BW Premier Hotel Victoria (no status). Some thoughts:

1. Location - very solid, about 5 minutes from the main train station. Less than that to grocery store, pharmacy, other restaurants.

2. Comfort level - quite good and favorably compares with a few Indigo hotels (IHG) that I've stayed at. Bed and pillows are a bit soft for my taste, though. Supposedly, the place is a green, sustainable hotel (use groundwater for A/C, wood pellets for heating, local foods for breakfast). Hardwood floors, which is a really nice touch. Overall, quite well thought out (and, I'll admit, a cute lullaby cord on the bed). King bed is actually two fulls, so there is a soft spot in the middle.

3. Issues - internet is a bit slow, but it is still usable for basic work. Fitness center is also small (a couple cardio machines and a number of free weights).

4. Extras - Besides internet, a card was given to me for free access to the RE trains for the region. Free tea and coffee downstairs. Very nice bar downstairs (mostly classic cocktails, very relaxed staff, but with beers and wines available as well), with smoking or non-smoking options.

5. Service - While interactions have been minimal, they have been good and I've had no problems.

6. Would I return? Yes, and I hope to do so soon - it's a very comfortable hotel, but it's a bit pricey. It's much better than the Novotel I stayed at last year and is at least the same value, if not better.
