Air France Frequence Plus - Help with CDG conection time

I have a new booking on AF 7 (JFK-CDG) connecting with AF 1386 (operated by Czech Air) to Prague.
So my connecting time is 75 minutes. Is that doable or should I just move to a later Prague flight now?

If you are being given the option to book this combination on a single ticket/PNR, then it is judged a "legal" connection, and you will be protected in case of any irrops (put on the later flight should you miss the connection) and you can book it with confidence.

If, however, you are intending to book these on separate tickets, beware that you may miss the connection anyway, even if it "should" be legal (incoming TATL may be delayed). Never, ever book tight connections on separate tickets.

AF 007's track record for ontime arrivals at CDG is less than stellar. While I would not hesitate to make a 75mn connection at CDG, and although my learned friend Goldorak had an ontime arrival with AF 007, I would personally look at having a longer connection in this specific case. But then, I may be more risk averse than other passengers ...

If the OP is on a single ticket, he will be rebooked on the next available PRG flight, and there are quite a lot per day.

+1. If you book a longer connection just to arrive at cdg on time and seeing the plane leave without you it would be frustrating. So if on a single pnr take the shortest connection you can get and be mentally ready to miss it and enjoy the lounge for longer than hoped.
