There is. When you get the Deal Code, just don't use it. Miles should still post, as it is the purchase of the code, not its redemption, that triggers the bonus. Worked this way with past cheap offers (a couple others in the $5 range came around a few weeks ago).

Thanks for pointing out the potential for daisy chaining on this. I got the email this morning but ignored it, thinking about the stack of BH&G magazines sitting on my nearby bookshelf unopened from years past.

But I went ahead and spent $6 to get myself 500 miles, then referred my husband.

His signup page said:

You'll earn 5 miles per dollar spent!

He signed up and then immediately made his first purchase, so will get his 500 miles for signing up & making a first purchase that everyone gets, plus 500 more for buying this deal.

And that gets ME 500 miles for being the referrer.

(Plus you actually get 5 miles per dollar, not 1 as stated earlier in the thread, according to the signup page my husband just used, so that's 530 we each got for today's purchases.)

Me- 530 miles for buying BH&G + 500 for referring husband = 1030
Husband - 500 miles for signing up & making a first purchase + 530 for buying BH&G = 1030

Husband - 500 miles for signing up & making a first purchase + 530 for buying BH&G = 1030 + 500 for referring son = 1530

Son - 500 miles for signing up & making first purchase + 530 for buying BH&G = 1030

$17.97 = 36 issues of BH&G & 3590 miles = .50cpm
