Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - Will I make M&S Gold with these trips?

I have worked out that since I have 3 upcoming trip with TK all Y, I should be able to score M&S Gold after that. I need some help to verify if I can make it:

I have a M&S account with 0 balance now, I'll be on the following trip with 3 kids (over 2):

1. CPH-IST-HKG return with TK P class Oct 2012

2. CPH-IST-HKG return with TK T,L class Dec 2012

3. CPH-IST-LAX return with TK P class Feb 2013

If we all credit our trips with M&S we ought to be able to score M&S Elite (40k within 12 months), right? Kids can also be M&S Elite I guess?

Flights 1 & 2 should net 12,480 miles each.
Flight 3 should get you 16,200 miles.

So the total would be 41,160 miles, enough for elite.

Kids can have their own account but you might wish to consider a family account for pooling all the miles.

TK doesn't have the calendar system like UA has, right? (can't see it anywhere) I never made UA silver because my trips are always in between 2 calendar year.

Turkish bases your status on a rolling 12 / 24 months based upon when you first hit a threshold within a 12 month period. i.e. my 12 / 24 month period is currently April through the following March

What about before you hit a threshold, i.e. a 0 mile account? Do they count from your first TK flight and then 12 months on?

Yes, 12 months from your first flight to obtain a threshold
