Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - MCT in MXP?

I am looking at booking a trip to EU end of the month but everything is so full, have to fly with TG....

Need to get to STR but FRA is not an option as it is all blocked out and MUC is bad scheduling for me - so... I found MXP with seats open in J both ways so I think that will have to be it. However... The connection from MXP to STR is on 4U (German Wings) and it departs at 08:25 whereas my TG flight would arrive at 07:35

I am UK passport holder and I can do hand luggage only if that helps if at all....

I am thinking this is too short a connection....

I wouldn't risk a J ticket over a short connection. Fly the day before and have a day trip in Milan.
