There are 4 different chase biz cards,

1 INK CASH, 2 INK CLASSIC, 3 INK BOLD. 4 INK PLUS
https://creditcards.chase.com/business-credit-cards.aspx

I currently have the ink bold. my wife wants to apply for either one of the above and she has no chase biz card.
we both have SP card which is personal.

Are all four or three of the above are downgradable/convertable each other?

If she applies for INK BOLD now and when annual fee comes next year, she can downgrade to ink cash or the ink classic to avoid annual fee?

Out of the 4, only INK CASH has some kind of zero liability, purchase protection?

thanks

The INK bold can be downgraded to INK Cash or INK Classic to avoid annual fees. SP can be downgraded to regular Sapphire. Between the INK Cash or Ink Classic, I would choose the Ink classic to downgrade to, to keep earning points.

someone on dansdeals said his IB card wasn't downgradable to any other cards and thus had to cancel due to annual fee.

my wife doesn't have any ink cards, deciding between IB charge or the IB PLUS.

she has good score but short history, if she has to close one card to get this approved, it will be the PRIORITY CLUB< but she has 44k points, will lose her PC points?

It may be like Amex where you can't downgrade a charge to a credit card. Ink Bold is a Charge, whereas Ink is a credit card. Guess you gotta figure out which one of the fee free cards is a credit version.

WONDER IS ink classic is a charge or credit card!

looks like if u got the IB now and next year, you are stuck between cancelling it or keeping it with $95 AF.

IMHO, downgrading is not a winning tactic. Just cancel the card and get another one that earns Ult Reward Pts. Or--get the second card first and then cancel.

It is easy to transfer URPs from one card account to another so you don't lose any by closing.

Or just convert the URPs to, say, UAL miles.

If you don't apply for new cards you can't get new bonus URPs. @:-)

By the way, I have had at least four URP earning cards from Chase in the last few months. Gotta love the bonuses. :D
