I am planning on going to pakistan on Etihad in Dec. Last time i went this route on etihad, my flights did have AA code share, I used my AA advantage number but did not get any miles as I was told by AA that although it is code share but since ticket does not have AA number the flight is not eligible for AA miles so i did not get any miles for relatively long trip.
Now while looking at fares, there is about $300 difference if i book the same flight using etihad websire vs using expeida which gives me AA number.
Any suggestions/ experience with this. I do not want to miss miles for this trip but if that means paying $300 extra then it may not be worth it esp when it does not count towards elite status.
Thanks

The info. on the website indicates AA ticket stock requirement for the JFK-AUH-JFK segments. You should have received mileage credit for AUH-LHE-AUH segments in my opinion even if not on AA ticket. Since you have already had a negative experience I'd say check with AA preferably in writing (drop an email).
