United MileagePlus (Consolidated) - UA 772 delayed due to tiff between GA and 1st officer
Sitting at SFO waiting for replacement 1st officer. Seemed to be a tiff he had with the GA as boarding. She appeared to ask to see his ID. He took offense. Supervisor called. 1st officer departed. Not sure if at his choosing or not.
And now a full 320sits around waiting for the replacement who is on the way from his hotel. Won't even board the flight. Not sure why not? Is there a requirement that full crew be on board to board?
And of course UA highly transparent. "servicing the plane","airport conditions"...

Well, in a way, airport conditions are accurate! Truth is, I would rather UA NOT be transparent in this case. Last thing I would want to see as reason for delay is "UA staff didn't get along with each other"

UA flight status showing this as now a 7:30 a.m. departure but we're 10 mins. past that.
From my vantage point at the SFO Int'l RCC, can see lots of activity around the a/c (bag loading, servicing), although jetway not yet pulled.

Then definately a services issue....not an employee griping issue...push the blame around baby!

Did you happen to notice if the 1st officer had his ID with him? Could be something simple as him dropping it somewhere in the terminal, which would not have been good at all for other reasons.

How confusing, I thought 772 aircraft not flight number.
