Star Alliance - Need Help with Award Trip Booking to PUJ

The misses and I are going to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for our 10th wedding anniversary. I've collected almost 70K United and 70K Delta miles I'd like to use for the trip. We're leaving 1/27-1/31/13. Dates aren't really flexible but we might be able to make changes if needed. Leaving from ILM or RDU preferrably, but we could also leave from Myrtle Beach, SC; Washington, DC; Charlotte, NC. Any help is appreciated as I'm very much a novice at this. :)

CLT - PUJ is the most direct route on US Air but the availability is none in January. Only option close to your dates are 2/3 - 2/7 that is currently available now for 35K miles per person. You can search on United.com. Other options are there but really long layovers through EWR are terrible. You won't find Delta availability at the lower miles during the winter high season.
