All Nippon Airways Mileage Club - ANA hold music

I can't get it out of my head!! It's the same music they play during the boarding process. Where is it from? How can I find it online???

ANA still use Another Sky as the boarding and arrival music - though it sees to me to be less frequently used on IOJ-aircraft. I'm pretty sure I've heard before it as hold music too, but not had to call in for a while. I love to hear it too - makes me feel like I'm going on journey or that I'm arriving back home. It's not a proper trip without it.

As I fly both JAL and ANA, I often have their theme songs stuck in my head. I think I prefer the JAL one, though. ;)

The other one that sticks in my head a lot is the little jingle at the start and end of the ANA safety video.

Taro Hakase also did the theme song for Shinsei Bank, "Color Your Life," which sounds almost exactly the same as the ANA song. Every time I am on hold to wire money to the US, I feel like I am waiting to deplane at NRT

I agree - it can be pretty catchy. Last year I was walking around doing some shopping and out of the blue was humming this tune... couldn't for the life of me think what it was or where it came from.

Then next time I got on ANA there it was! Bingo! Somehow in the three or four flights i'd done with them that year the tune had subliminally entered the brain! :eek:

But I like TG's jingle when they have the safety video as much as NH's boarding music, espeically at the end with " Thaiiiii smootthhh as siiiiillllkkkk"

Well, as long as we're discussing nominations for most annoying music, I wonder if any Tokyo residents here shop at the Summit supermarkets. The Summit theme song is the most annoying music I have ever heard in my life. I will actually walk out of the store if they start playing it while I'm shopping.
