LAN LANPASS - LAN at LAX- latest at check in counter
I have an international flight tomorrow in early afternoon at LAX. Supposedly I need to be at the airport 3 hours before flight at 1:30 P.M. I won't be able to make it till 2 to 2 1/2 hours before Flight. I will be on Business Class. Will I be okay? Does anyone know the latest time before my luggage needs to be checked in at the counter?
Is there also a Priority lane for Business class for security at Thomas Bradley Terminal? If so, do I need to ask for a voucher?
Thanks so much

You`ll be OK. There is a priority line through security for J class passengers. It may or not be the fastest. At that time of day, things shouldn´t be all that crowded though IME.

You'll be fine. LAN's (sometimes ridiculous) check-in time requirements are meant for the lowest common denominator pax. Those who rarely fly, have no status, lug 4-5 bags each, and must queue up in the Economy line.
You, flying J, should take all of 5 minutes to check-in with bags, and another 10 to get through security.

thanks. Lan is ridiculous. I just got off the phone and was told that I MUST be there at least 3 hours before flight departure.
Also, tried to do check in for the lima to cusco flight the following day. couldn't get the same seat I had reserved.
Also, will be traveling Biz on Awards ticket so do I still have priority lane for security check?

The LAN phone agent is just reading the company suggested check-in times. If 200+ pax all show up 3 hours before flight, do you really think they can get them all checked-in at the same time? Of course not! The last person in line would be processed about 1.5 hours prior to departure time.
As far as Priority Access, it doesn't matter how you got J.
