Qantas Frequent Flyer - Adelaide using points

Hi

I have over 300,000 points to use up and being new to the process finding it difficult to plan a trip for two people out of Adelaide. Can someone suggest the best way to use these points up. Would like to go to USA but ultimately just get the best value from the points.

I think it depends on where you want to go, when and what class you wish to travel in. Can you provide some more information?

The best value would be a premium class reward long haul.

MEL/SYD-LAX in business is 192,000 points return, so 384,000 for two people.
MEL/SYD-LAX in premium economy is 144,000 points return, so 288,000 for two people.

Then you can add an ADL-MEL/SYD flight on, either economy or business.
