Travel Products - B&R Transcend Pockets?

What do you put in the pockets of your Transcend luggage? Or luggage in general?

I'm currently using a 20 wide B&R Transcend. It feels smaller than my other luggage (standard 22 rollers) because I'm not effectively using the pockets. The large front pocket is large enough for pants or t-shirts but that seems like it would compress anything in the suitor and generally feels odd. The back pocket would work for a small liquid bag, but I use the smaller front pocket for that. I've used the back pocket for socks in the past, but it's never held anything I could otherwise cram into the main case. How do I pack to better use the space available?

I find the front pocket of my 20" Transcend (not the wide version) too tight to really hold much other than papers. If I need the extra space (usually to hold a jacket, drinks, or umbrella), I attach the built-in net in front.

I use the back pocket (the one between the bars of the handle) for my laptop cord. When I traveled with a hair flat iron, I'd use it for that.

The front pocket in mine just doesn't seem to work for clean, folded clothes, so I generally use it for:
* One or several magazines
* Paperwork
* Paper-related souvenirs. (Useful to throw brochures, ticket stubs, etc., in there during the course of the trip.)
* Dirty clothes

I have a previous-gen 22" Transcend roll-aboard. I usually use the large outside pocket to carry a Marmot light jacket (windbreaker/rain jacket similar to this: http://www.rei.com/product/833301/ ). I use the one between the bars to hold a very compact umbrella and the custom strap I had made for attaching my B&R BRX backpack to the suitcase. I use the top smaller pocket to keep my 3-1-1 bag at hand during security. This usually gets shoved back into the main compartment after security.
